One of my favourite things about The Vampire Diaries is the lack of subtlety. Especially in the futures of certain characters. Especially Tyler’s “situation”.
"I wonder why he’s so moody all the time. I wonder why there’s full moons in some of his moody shots. Ahmagah his eyes went weird and he heard what the vampires heard! I wonder what’s going on," it seems they’re trying to make you think. Maybe it works on the kids who are new to the werewolf concept. Or maybe they’re purposely obvious.
It’s basically a higher budget, better written and performed, less intentionally funny version of Passions. With vampires. Although I never saw the last of Passions so I don’t know if Vampires ever showed up. There was everything else so it’s possible.
I pay it out but I love it. It took me about 13 episodes to start getting into it and after persevering through the first season I have grown addicted. And I blame Lollie. And it’s wonderful.
