I’m already half way through season one because that’s how I roll. I’m noticing so much more this time round.
The opening credits for Big Love are so ridiculously perfect to me. This is the sequence from the first three seasons. It dreamily encapsulates the demeanour of all four main characters and their hopes and struggles of the entire series in under two minutes and OH MY GOD!
I love everything about this show. SO MUCH! The story is so rich with love and sensitivity to complicated emotions, and laced with delicious drama and often frightening corruption. The performances of the actors are so utterly supreme I could vomit! FUCKING MATT ROSS, MAN! His portrayal of Alby Grant is breathtaking.
Sorry … I just found all 5 seasons on one of my external hard drives and I’m really excited to start reviewing. And I shall do so this very instant!

I just parted with this piece of wonderment. Five seasons in one month and it was a beautiful ride full of so much talent. The ending was truly great. It fit very well, even if there were a few tears leaking from my ducts.
I really don’t really know what else to say. It was just a refreshing series that kept a respectable realism even when going over the top with drama.
